Bennison Smith Law is based in Peterborough, Ontario. I operate my business from the Peterborough Business Hub near downtown. 

Meetings are available virtually or in-person. I specialize in estate planning, estate administration and business law. 

I provide flexible, accommodating legal services, designed to meet the needs of my clients as they plan for their future and their family's future.

Prior to opening my practice, I worked with Deloitte Canada's Legal Project Solutions (LPS) group to assist in the administration of a major class action settlement. 

After obtaining my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, I returned to my hometown to complete my articling term with a local Peterborough firm. I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021.

Among other responsibilities, I volunteer my time with Community Care Peterborough and I serve on the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton.

My roots in Peterborough run deep. It is a pleasure to serve the needs of the community that raised me.
